Data Engineering Program:
Comprehensive training under the guidance of a mentor focusing on mastering data engineering will be provided.

This is a fully remote position that offers you the flexibility to work from any location in Armenia, whether it's your home or well-equipped offices in Yerevan or Gyumri.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new API integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools, increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it
• Design and develop architecture for data storage solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of data retrieval, data security and performance requirements
• Write high-quality, well-documented code for various components of the data infrastructure, including ETL processes, database management, and data exploration and visualization tools
• Act as a mentor to junior data engineers, providing guidance and support as needed in the design and delivery of solutions

Requirements

• Proven enterprise experience in Python
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Advanced command of Linux: adept in service configuration and scripting
• Fundamental understanding of containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid database skills: expertise in SQL and relational algebra
• Basic networking knowledge: comprehension of networking fundamentals

Nice to have

• Experience with data manipulation libraries such as pandas
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra
• Practical knowledge in message streaming platforms like Kafka
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform
• Hands-on experience in LLM, NLP, MLOps, and RAG
