Purpose and Objective:

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Developer at our Pittsburgh, PA location to be responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features in a development team.

Expectations and Tasks:

Resolves complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues. Show initiative and drives topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency. Works closely together with others and shares expertise to ensure product success. Constantly improves own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills. Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team. Has advanced overall product and technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team and organization. Has advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards. Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of modules or features of a product. Works according to specifications and project plans. Provides application implementation services typically within the boundaries of specifications and project plans. Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation. Implementation activities include implementation, testing and integration. Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal. Usually extends, modifies or adapts existing designs but may also be involved in the development of new (sub-)systems.

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field and six (6) years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

The company will also accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Work Experience:

Position requires at least three years of experience in each of the following:

• Design and develop software including GUI and ABAP with Object Oriented Programming
• Software Development with Java, JavaScript and FIORI Apps
• Technical experience with AUNIT writing and unit testing using Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Cucumber and Selenium
• Hana DB, SQL, Script and SQL Performance Tuning
• AMDP Development, Hana Studio, and ABAP Eclipse Development
• Web service development using ODATA
• Supply chain solution
• Enterprise Application Development
