Senior Developer

Role Overview:

Broadridge Trading & Connectivity Solutions (BTCS) is seeking a talented and self-motivated Senior Developer to join our global team.

This role is pivotal in transforming the trading landscape globally, developing high-quality financial market software products. You'll be involved in designing, implementing, validating, and testing our solutions using integrated tools like Git, Jenkins, Gerrit, and Sonar.

Responsibilities 

• Conceive and design our financial markets software products 

• Implement, validate and test achievements 

• Support team efforts by applying an Agile methodology 

• Build extensible, high-volume, highly reliable server applications 

• Contribute to GUI integration developed in C#

• Evolve in technical areas such as multi-threading and performance profiling 

• Apply continuous integration and TDD 

• Provide and receive constant technical feedback via code-reviews and pair programming 

Your profile 

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development 

• Academic qualification in computer science or related field.

• Experience in OOP and/or functional programming (Scala,Kotlin) in an environment with challenging performance demands 

• Strong understanding of the server components and concepts 

• Capable of designing and developing new functionalities, as well as consistently supporting ongoing maintenance releases 

• Innovative mindset driving technological advancements.

• Team player with good communication skills, with an excellent level of English proficiency
