Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for "Senior Tandem Developer " to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!

Roles & Responsibilities: Cognizant is looking for a Senior Tandem Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. • 5- 7 Years of Experience • Minimum 5 years Tandem development experience in high availability environment • Minimum 5 years' experience in Tandem INSPECT/ eINSPECT/ visual inspect • Minimum 5 years Tandem COBOL and C experience • Minimum 5 years Tandem PATHWAY experience • Experience with and knowledge of US and/or Global ACH Systems, fund transfer or other payment systems is a plus. • Experience with payment and debit networks (Visa, MC, Discover, Star, Pulse, etc) • Strong communication skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels • Strong problem analysis & resolution skills

Good to Have Skills

  • HP NonStop hardware and software platform - Guardian/TACL, OSS
  • Languages - COBOL/SCOBOL, DDL, Enform, TAL procedure calls
  • Database - Enscribe, SQL MP, SQL MX, SQLCI, MXCI
  • Requestor/Server communication via Pathway
  • NonStop Utilities - FUP, KLIST, SCUP, TACL, TMF
  • Version Control tools - RMSCOM, GIT
  • Code Debugger Tool - Inspect, Visual Inspect, eInspect
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all System
  • Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and passion about building an innovative culture.
  • Understanding of software skill such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
  • Understanding of Banking and financial applications or related business experience.
