Senior Developer (Reliability and Performance Engineering)

What is the opportunity?

As a Part of the GenAI Platform Engineering team, this role requires an experienced developer with SRE experience. You will tackle difficult problems relating to scalability and reliability in the context of GenAI adoption across the entire company. You will also take ownership of the performance and scalability challenges with the GenAI Gateway, including enhancing and strengthening our SLOs, and building out new capabilities to improve observability.

What will you do?

• Design and develop performance enhancements to GenAI completions and embeddings APIs

• Working with production grade Python services and addressing the performance issues that come with that.

• Deploying and scaling k8s applications.

• Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications.

• Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with GenAI completions.

• Expertise in Python troubleshooting.

• Proven track record of locating problem areas in complex systems and proposing innovative solutions.

• Intermediate experience in a variety of environments (Cloud, distributed and mainframe, business workflows and services/APIs, databases)

• Hands-on experience in a variety of SRE languages and tools (Ansible, Dynatrace Managed, Terraform)

• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies.

Nice-to-have

• Hands-on experience preferred with AWS/Azure (Bedrock/Sagemaker/Azure Databricks)

• Hands on experience with GenAI projects in banking domain preferred.

• Banking domain knowledge preferred.
