Senior DevOps Engineer/SRE

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to bolster our hardworking team.
In this dynamic role, the selected candidate will be pivotal in leading the adoption of our in-house Product Analytics Service, ensuring it meets the multifaceted needs of our end-users.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the adoption of a new product analytics service across the organization: You will be pivotal in advancing the uptake of a new Product Analytics Service. As the Service Owner, you will oversee the platform's direction and adoption, ensuring it fulfills the specific needs of our end-users, including product managers and user experience researchers
• Strategic oversight: You are tasked with designing the service strategy and assuming comprehensive responsibility for the service's lifecycle. This includes planning, implementing, operating, and optimizing the platform and its related add-ons
• Stakeholder engagement: It will be essential for you to forge and maintain robust relationships with all stakeholders, both internal team members and external vendors

• Service owner proficiency: You possess profound expertise in managing a self-hosted service and taking responsibility for its lifecycle, support, and communications
• Strong familiarity with
• "Under the hood" workings of web applications (php, VUE, JS/ES)
• Kubernetes elements: pods, services, ingress, manifests, deployments, stateful sets, config maps, secrets
• Kustomize features: resources, patches
• HashiCorp's Vault mechanisms: secrets and certificates management
• ArgoCD functionalities: applications deployment, updating, management
• Docker containers aspects: creation, analysis, updating
• DevSecOps essentials and practical applications
• CI/CD processes, especially GitHub actions
• System administration on Linux & software platforms
• Experience in product analytics, measuring and evaluating end-user behavior is highly desirable

• Administration of GCP services via CLI and Crossplane
• Coding proficiency in PHP and/or Python
• Redis experience: CLI, API
• Modern cryptography knowledge: symmetric encryption, SSL/TLS certificates, CA infrastructure
• SQL database administration skills
