Job Duties and Responsibilities

Senior Engineer - Software sought by DISH Network L.L.C. in Englewood, CO

Provide hands on technical leadership in design, of full stack developer using Java, SpringBoot, Webservice/Rest services, React JS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and JQuery. Design and create code within a test driven-development programming environment. Work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment using agile methodology principles. Work with other teams (outside the company and across the company) to understand requirements, understand expectations and present solutions. Review developer code and project delivery to maintain and improve quality control and adherence to company standards. Collaborate on, contribute to, and review backend API standards with our backend teams. Work with other technical leads on platform technical design and architecture. Perform root cause analysis of production issues and implement recommendations.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a closely related field plus 3 years of relevant experience as software engineer or similar role. Also requires 3 years of work experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

• Issue tracking using Jira.
• RESTful web services.
• Hibernate.
• J2EE.
• JUnit or Junit5.
• Spring MVC or Springboot or Spring Data Jpa.
• Deploying the code to test and production environments.
• Maintaining existing applications by monitoring production environments for any defects and fix the defects.

Compensation: $117,021.00/Year
