Senior Executive, Social Media

Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, you will play a key role in growing the brand by driving awareness and consideration objectives through compelling social media campaigns and contents, with priority focus on TikTok and Instagram. You will ideate, produce and edit relevant social media contents with strong knowledge of the different platform formats, trends and audience needs. You appreciate the importance of brand guardianship and will translate our brand strategy to social media contents.

Day to Day Activities

• Social media: You are a social media maven and will manage and grow our diverse social media platforms, by developing targeted contents in line with GetGo's brand voice to drive brand love, build customer loyalty and engagements.
• Social media: You have a creative flair and will take ownership in ensuring timely end-to end production of all social media contents, including research, content strategy, planning, scripting, shooting, and editing.
• Social media: You understand the importance of data and will actively analyse social media metrics to gather insights and understand the impact of our social media activities on brand objectives and to use these insights to continuously optimise our approach.
• Social media: You will monitor the social media platforms for potential issues or negative sentiment and respond promptly to mitigate any impact on our brand's reputation. 
• Social media: You are a self-starter and will research and introduce trends and tools on social media to improve our effectiveness in managing our social media channels and strategies.
• Influencer management: You are familiar with the local influencer landscape and will identify and manage relationships with influencers to co-create contents that introduce our brand to new audiences and strengthen our brand engagement and position on social media. 
• Influencer management: You will partner with the performance marketing team to create contents with influencers for our social ads, ensuring outcomes that meet our brand guidelines and business goals. 
• Brand guardianship: You are a strong advocate of the GetGo brand and work closely with our Senior Brand Manager to grow brand love, understand brand health metrics and translate our brand priorities into social media campaigns and contents that will build GetGo’s brand presence and drive engagements.
• Brand guardianship: You appreciate the different commercial perspectives and will ensure that our engagements and social media efforts complement and enhance product launches, promotions, and other initiatives, providing a unified brand experience.

Who We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, or a closely related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in social media, communications, brand marketing or related field
• Previous experience with a consumer brand, preferably in technology or mobility
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and trends.
• Prior experience producing contents on TikTok and Instagram is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Class 3 or A driving licence is a plus.
• Ability to lead and manage projects independently
• Proven track record of driving audience engagement and growth on social media platforms
• Proficient in social media analytics tools and data interpretation similar to Hootsuite and Sprout Social
• Proficient in content creation tools for social media (TikTok, CapCut or Adobe Suite).
• Up-to-date with latest trends, marketing, and brand best practices
