As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will develop trusted partnerships with Executive Leadership to influence and enable decision making through data driven financial analysis. You will strive to establish repeatable business practices to integrate financial and operational data models for forecasting that can be leveraged throughout FP&A . You will provide critical analysis of business operations and key initiatives. You will apply analytical skills and draw objective conclusions while working cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, Leadership, and technology functions. As a member of your business partner's leadership team, you will proactively identify financial needs and provide relevant insights.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary Finance Business Partner to the following Executive Leaders: TD&O & Product.
• Senior FBP: Develop data-driven, financial models integrated with Operational Models to analyze performance/trends, seek opportunities to add growth and improve margin.
• Act as a trusted partner and change agent for business units to drive financial performance and decision making.
• Help business leaders understand drivers of their business.
• Identify, quantify, and synthesize risks and opportunities in supported business units and the potential for cross-functional impacts to AvidXchange.
• Coordinate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A and Talent/HR teams on accounting, systems and planning matters.
• Support the routine forecasting and annual budgeting process for the respective business unit.
• Senior FBP: Coach and mentor other Finance Business Partners as necessary

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance and with 7-10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Superior analytical skills and insatiable business curiosity. Passionate about turning data into actionable information to drive value.
• Must have demonstrated the highest levels of mastery of Excel.
• Intermediate database utilization skills, as well as familiarity/experience with Microsoft Office products, Corporate ERP Systems, and financial forecasting tools.
• Experience with GAAP & Non-GAAP accounting practices and financial reporting.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment and at times autonomously with limited guidance.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Unquestioned professional integrity.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• MBA with a minimum 5 years' financial analysis experience, preferably in $500M+ software business (preferably including Software-as-a-Service and transactional revenue models)
• Exemplary business partnership and cross functional/organizational management skills.
• Experience supporting technology teams in a finance role.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and scope.
• Understands organizational strengths, corporate vision and can apply them to supported programs and projects to drive corporate alignment/performance.
• Manage competing demands and can adapt to change.
