Senior Front-End Engineer

THE ROLE

You’re comfortable both diving into complex technical and architectural problems and providing mentorship for your peers and teammates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work collaboratively with a team of software engineers to craft user-facing web features that art and design lovers will love
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to test and ship features following Agile practices
• Build, optimize, and maintain elegant abstractions, shareable libraries, and robust APIs, internal and consumer-facing tools
• Eager to learn new technologies and open to learning from others
• Create amazing intuitive experiences that remove problems for our users
• Provide mentorship for team members and help them grow in their technical responsibilities
• Thrive in a collaborative fully remote environment

IDEAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

• 5+ years of relevant software development experience building, optimizing, and scaling responsive web applications
• You are driven by an improvement mentality and promote a solution oriented approach to ambiguity.
• Experience with following technologies: React, Typescript, Next.js, Jest (plus points for Rescript)
• Familiar with software standard methodologies such as unit testing and code reviews, design, and documentation
• Working knowledge of GraphQL and gRPC
• Experience in localization, i18n, and accessibility
• Experience with DevOps and application deployment models (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure)
