Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Raytheon Software Engineering Team is looking for aSeniorFull Motion Video (FMV) Software Developer. As theFMV SW Developeryou will work as part of a scrum team in an agile development environment to develop and sustain the operational code base. This is an onsite role based in Richardson ,TX. What You Will Do • This position will support the sustainment and modernization of a FMV video streaming capability supporting a large quantity of simultaneous video streams. • This individual will implement and maintain the processing, remediation, and routing of video streams to support a key real-time mission capability as part of an Agile development team. • The individual will be expected to interact with the operations team and other programs to identify root cause and support resolution of issues discovered with the FMV capabilities in operations. • Obtain and maintain SCI program access andcomplete polygraphs. Qualifications You Must Have • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience. • Experience with Java and C++. • Experience with networking including TCP and UDP protocols. • Experience with MPEG-2 or other FMV transport streams (H.264, H.265, MPEG-4) • Experience with KLV (key length value) metadata and MISB standards. • Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
