Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js/ React)

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our vertically integrated platform enables some of the world’s most active residential real estate investors to acquire and manage single-family rental homes across multiple markets in the U.S. with the help of advanced data science, machine learning, and powerful automation. Picket’s technology is created by a global team of purpose-driven, product-savvy engineers, designers, and data scientists spread across the US, Poland, Ukraine, and Vietnam. As a member of our team, you will work closely with product leaders, sophisticated investors, real estate professionals, and high-bar teammates as you build, deploy, and iterate on amazing products in a fast-growing startup environment.

We are seeking a Software Engineer with the passion and ability to build customer-facing products.

Must have

• 3+ years of experience building, supporting, and scaling distributed RESTful APIs
• 3+ years of experience in Node.js and React
• Proven experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
• Experience with TypeScript
• Understanding of CI lifecycle including best practices in QA
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Experience with Git and VCS in general
• Understanding of CI/CD
• English Upper-Intermediate

Nice to have

• Basic experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud and infrastructural services
• Experience with Sequelize, Express.js, Redux
• Experience with MongoDB or other document DB
• Knowledge of Java/Kotlin or other JVM languages
• Experience in asynchronous event processing in microservices architecture (PubSub, Apache Kafka) or similar technologies
