Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Language Developer to join our engineering team.
Our mission is to help make healthcare more accessible and affordable by saving people money on essential prescription medications. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and deployment of new or existing services and APIs to support new product functionality. The successful candidate will possess strong technical skills, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for pushing engineering standards to new heights in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers and handle their requests promptly
  • Create and maintain infrastructure for unit and automated testing
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and performant services
  • Engage with teams across the organization to consider the broader technical implications of design decisions
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, knowledge sharing, and best practice adherence
  • Own or contribute to the creation of technical design proposals and proof of concepts
  • Advocate for engineering best practices throughout the organization
  • Foster operational excellence through meticulous testing and monitoring of systems and code, comprehensive documentation, and participating in on-call rotations

  • At least 3 years of total software development experience
  • Minimum 2 years of strong experience in Go
  • Proficiency in gRPC
  • Significant expertise in designing, building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based web services and microservices, preferably with AWS
  • Knowledge of container technology, including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for code quality, best practices, continuous delivery, and automated testing
  • Flexibility to adapt to various tools and technologies
  • Capability to work directly with customers without supervision
  • English proficiency level B2 or higher
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with GraphQL
  • Skills in TypeScript
  • Understanding of Redis
  • Background in Python
  • Competency in content management systems like Contentful
