Senior Google Cloud Developer. Platform Team

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to contribute to building our SaaS platform supporting a new mixed reality focused engine. You will be an important part of bringing AR experiences to millions. You will use GCP services to create APIs and Data Pipelines for user account management, analytics, over the air asset and configuration delivery, integration with internal and external systems, and much more. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with fellow engineers on an agile development team to design, develop, test, implement, deploy, and support the underlying platform that all Illumix AR experiences are built upon and delivered through.
• Develop RESTful APIs, integrate with 3rd party APIs, and create data pipelines using JavaScript and Typescript in a Google Cloud environment.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Google Cloud Platform across the organization.
• Work with members of the engineering, product management, and project management teams to to groom and estimate user stories, ensuring a smooth development and implementation process.
• Ensure that new features and enhancements are designed and implemented to be scalable and highly available with sufficient redundancy to support the needs of Illumix customers.
• Enable our customers, as well as both internal and external teams, to quickly capture and report on AR experience performance and usage analytics.
• Conduct peer code-reviews and ensure all code meets defined standards around code quality, test coverage, and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience writing server-side JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.JS.
• 4+ years of experience developing cloud-native solutions using Google Cloud Platform services deployed via infrastructure-as-code tooling such as Terraform.
• 2+ years of experience storing and managing data within NoSQL data stores.
• Experience developing multi-tenant SaaS products that integrate with customer-provided identity providers using SAML, oAuth, or other authentication standards.
• Experience contributing to development of a greenfield project that was deployed to production and grew to usage of at least 1M requests per month.
