Job Summary:

DT Professional Services is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support our DISA Client in Crystal City, VA in a hybrid capacity. This team provides reliable engineering (backend support) and analytical support services including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamic 365 CRM platforms as a service to its customer base to host a variety of mission applications, collaboration, business intelligence, and workflows. Our team operates, maintains, assimilates, and upgrades multiple SharePoint and CRM instances. We examine and rationalize the existing content and customizations in the SharePoint production farms with the intent of migration to future generation environments. As a Senior level Infrastructure Engineer with familiarity of Microsoft Dynamic Customer Relations Management (CRM) and Platform, you will be using cutting edge SharePoint technologies, such as to deliver the best solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate will resolve issues, system configuration, perform upgrades, and implement changes to the environment in order to maintain the SharePoint/CRM environments. This position is Hybrid (some on client site requirements) in Crystal City, VA. Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility & suitability requirements, and an interim Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure system availability of SharePoint 2013, 2019 and CRM on premise test, staging and production farms by providing operations and maintenance support
  • Use knowledge of servers: Incident and problem tickets management for SharePoint 2013, 2019 and CRM Dynamics 365 environments. Ensure incidents and problems from all users are resolved quickly, completely and to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Maintain platform infrastructure in accordance with Microsoft recommended best practices while also considering the customers unique requirements
  • Adhere to established infrastructure standards, policies, best practices and procedures related to the support and operations of our SharePoint and Dynamics CRM environment
  • Provide expertise in moving infrastructure from on premises to the cloud environment
  • Collaborate with members of the SharePoint Analyst Team, Project Managers, and other technical service partners to deliver SharePoint solutions that surpass client expectations
  • General/working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and SQL server administration to complete a variety of projects
  • Use PowerShell scripting to provide support with administration, implementation, and monitoring
  • Update technical design and maintenance documentation for SharePoint & CRM farms
  • Perform patching and apply STIGS in order to ensure compliance to Risk Management Framework (RMF) to maintain an active Authorization To Operate (ATO)
  • Coordinate with Service Partners such as Server Operations, Cyber Security, and Database Teams to ensure SharePoint & CRM farms remain operational
  • Investigate and troubleshoot outages as needed to ensure we meet operational SLAs
  • Work with development teams to deploy custom applications in the environment as needed
  • Provide tier 3 and tier 4 technical support for SharePoint & CRM environments
  • On-call support high level incident and outages outside standard work hours
  • Coordinate with JSP Collaboration Teams (Service Partners) to support ATOs, updating necessary documentation, etc
  • Patching on a recurring basis
  • Applying STIGS as needed
  • Remediate IAVA findings for SharePoint and Dynamics CRM
  • Buildout SharePoint and CRM environments virtually hosted machines
  • Support migrations for SharePoint & CRM
  • Support custom development deployments
  • Implement SP governance in coordination with the Governance Manager
  • Provide input for weekly and monthly reports
  • Engage with the F5 team to configure the F5 load balancer to allow high availability and continued operation of SharePoint and Dynamics CRM
  • Submit and track CRQ, incidents & work orders as need and work with service partners to resolve
  • Participate in ECRB & CAB meetings as necessary
  • Resolve incident & work order tickets related to SharePoint/CRM infrastructure
  • Provide ADHOC SharePoint/CRM infrastructure related reports as needed
  • Maintain and peer review on periodic basis of internal engineering assets (i.e.Ā master server list, script repository, etc)
  • Maintain supporting infrastructure documentation
  • Maintain and track application-level certificates for all SharePoint/CRM farms on NIPR/SIPR
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve SharePoint and CRM databases in adherence with MS best practices and procedures
  • POC validation/testing for non-OTB solutions and applications (3rd party)
  • Additional engineering roles and responsibilities are specified in subsequent slides
  • Troubleshoot, manage, and configureĀ IIS and SharePoint infrastructure
  • Facilitate and support troubleshooting of systems included but not limited to OS, SQL, Trelix (HBSS), networking, firewall, and any other components to support a fully functioning SharePoint/CRM farm

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active or interim DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • Security+ or equivalent certification
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problems
  • 8+ years of infrastructure/system engineering experience
  • Experience with SharePoint 2013 and 2019
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online and CRM systems
  • General CRM/platform/server migration experience
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the CRM/platform and SharePoint framework
  • General experience with CRM/SharePoint configuration through the web UI
  • Troubleshooting experience, working through various technical issues related to SharePoint or dependencies
  • Computing Environment (CE) certificate or certification pertaining to the Cyber Workforce IA role and position
  • Microsoft or FedVTE certification focused on Server OS, SharePoint, or CRM
  • The desire to gain or use extra-curricular certifications as part of ongoing professional growth
  • Must be within commuting distance of DC metro area to come on client site as required. Those in Chesapeake, VA commuting distance will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Engineering
  • Experience with migration tools such as AvePoint DocAve, Fly
  • Acquired Microsoft certifications, especially MCSE
  • Ability to support a Dynamics Office 365 environment
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk)
  • Experience with disaster recovery efforts for ITĀ 
  • Cyber Security Technical Engineering support to SharePoint

Ā The compensation range for this position:Ā $120k - $150k annually.
