Job Description
TruU is a leading-edge product development company that specializes in building innovative solutions for the Identity and Access Management (IAM) space. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Java Cloud Engineer to mature existing cloud applications into a platform organized around highly available, highly scalable multi-tenant microservices capable of supporting millions of enterprise end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop multi-tenant Java microservices that are purpose-built and deployed with CI/CD pipelinesÂ
- Architect applications for fast horizontal scaling to ensure high availability and responsiveness to customer demandÂ
- Leverage containerization and serverless solutions to minimize overhead and maximize cost effectiveness
- Migrate legacy Java clustering built on Apache Ignite to a cloud-native approach leveraging service mesh technologiesÂ
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers to design a data pipeline and event management framework that can automate risk intelligence actionsÂ
- Manage API documentation with Swagger and partner with SDET automation engineers to expand test coverageÂ
- Deliver core API services to TruU client teams and develop custom integrations with 3rd party products to support new password-less use casesÂ
Requirements
- 7+ years in Java developmentÂ
- 5+ years developing applications for cloud environmentsÂ
- Experience with web application development using Spring MVC
- Experience designing and documenting RESTful APIsÂ
- Experience with multi-tenant microservice architectures and container-based application deliveryÂ
- Data architecture and data management experience, including database design and managementÂ
- Execution of cloud security principles and best practicesÂ
Nice to have
- Experience with Spring SecurityÂ
- Familiarity with Python and the Django Rest FrameworkÂ
- Experience with front-end frameworks like AngularÂ
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps automationÂ
- Data engineering experience built around streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or AWS KinesisÂ
- Familiarity with serverless and service mesh technologiesÂ
- Infrastructure as code experience with platforms like Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDKÂ
- Experience with single sign-on technologies and protocolsÂ
- Familiarity with the identity and access management product spaceÂ
