Overview 
 Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience with Java (version 8 and above) in developing and maintaining Java applications and microservices on AWS.
• Implement AWS solutions using EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Design and manage RESTful APIs following best practices.
• Refactor monolithic components for AWS, addressing version upgrades for Java, JDBC, ADFS, and HTTP requests.
• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Ensure system observability and monitoring using tools like Grafana, and participate in DevOps practices.
• Experience managing containerized applications with Kubernetes, ensuring scalability and reliability in cloud environments.
• Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and troubleshoot issues in Java applications and AWS services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with Java (version 8 and above) and microservices architecture.
• Expertise in AWS services, particularly Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB and RDS
• Strong experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Experience in working with monolithic applications and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes to build secure, cloud-native applications.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS certifications (Developer or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Control-M and Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
