Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our cross-functional scrum team at a business capability POD.
In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, enhancing, and maintaining state-of-the-art applications for the conducted processes. This is a dynamic position that requires a proactive individual with robust technical skills in Java technologies and excellent communication skills to collaborate with various team members.

Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain code for various business applications
- Build robust backend micro-services and REST APIs
- Conduct unit testing to ensure functionality and reliability
- Perform code reviews to uphold high-quality standards
- Adhere to coding best practices including continuous integration and comprehensive code reviews
- Engage in SCRUM ceremonies to ensure seamless project execution
- Participate in estimation and planning sessions to outline development phases
- Mentor and guide other developers, promoting a collaborative team environment

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of development work experience
- Proficiency in Java technologies including Spring and Spring Boot
- Skills in developing and maintaining APIs and microservices
- Competency in handling various databases including DB2, Oracle, and MongoDB
- Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management is preferred
- Familiarity with JIRA for project management
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
- Knowledge of JavaScript
- Competency in Jenkins for continuous integration
- Understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Proficiency in ReactJS for frontend development
