Senior Java Software Engineer

We are searching for a Senior Java Software Engineer to bolster our efforts in the healthcare domain.
This role involves enhancing a cloud-based patient portal that aims to streamline access to care by leveraging advanced technologies like Machine Learning and integrating open APIs. The successful candidate will contribute to the transformation of our application suite into a cutting-edge, cloud-hosted SaaS solution.

Responsibilities

• Transition the existing application suite into a robust, cloud-hosted SaaS solution
• Develop high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring
• Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and uphold code quality
• Write automated tests to ensure functionality and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best programming practices
• Ensure the deployment readiness of applications using automated pipelines and Kubernetes clusters

• Extensive experience building and managing high-traffic, customer-facing web applications and services
• Strong development expertise in Java, combined with proficiency in Spring
• Solid background in working with relational databases
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development within cloud environments
• Demonstrable competency in deploying to development environments with automated pipelines
• Familiarity with Kubernetes as a deployment tool

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Knowledge of scripting languages
