Senior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join a project focused on creating a cloud-based patient portal for the healthcare industry. This platform aims to foster efficient access to care while reducing administrative burdens and improving interactions between patients and providers by harnessing Machine Learning and leveraging open APIs for ecosystem integrations.

Responsibilities

• Transition the application suite to a cutting-edge, cloud-hosted SaaS solution
• Develop robust solutions utilizing Java and Spring frameworks
• Work collaboratively with the team to tackle technical challenges and elevate code quality
• Create automated tests as part of the criteria for completed work
• Engage in code reviews to ensure adherence to best programming practices

• Hands-on background in building and managing highly-available, high-traffic web applications and services
• Strong development expertise in Java
• Skills in utilizing Spring framework
• Experience with relational databases
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development in cloud environments
• Familiarity with deploying to development environments using automated pipelines and managing Kubernetes clusters

• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with scripting languages
