What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

The Senior Manager of Activation will lead a team of Activation Supervisors and Activations Specialists to ensure consistent and best-in-class service to new and existing customers.  This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of both inbound and back-office based customer inquiries, while delivering to key business, organizational and departmental metrics.  The ideal candidate possesses strong technical leadership and analytical skills with a customer-centric approach. The successful candidate will naturally partner with cross-functional teams to drive effective and positive change within the organization. 

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead a team of specialists and supervisors to deliver best-in-class service to new and returning customers.
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to set performance objectives and goals. 
  • Oversee timely publication of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting while ensuring productivity objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Responsible for inbound and back-office based customer services that require a balance of client relations, technical acumen, understanding of specific use cases to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Participate in key customer meetings and QBRs to evolve the program, manage escalations and better serve our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct continual assessment of collective and individual team member skillsets and implement training plans to support program initiatives and career development.
  • Ensure proper team coverage to address customer needs during work hours across varying time zones.
  • Champion new projects and processes to positively effect change for the business and to provide improved customer experience.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving efficiencies through automation and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
  • Self-starter with a Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related field.  Education requirements will be waved based on experience level.
  • 5+ years of technical management/leadership experience in a customer-centric environment.
  • Proven track record in leading, negotiating, problem solving, managing conflict, and business planning.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft computing suite, CRM, MRP or similar environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet critical timelines.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Proven experience working in a self-motivated environment and independently managing workload and projects.

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $92,250 to $161,750. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
