The Opportunity
To further catapult our rapid growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Manager of Business Development. This new role will help us grow and support our critical ecosystem partnerships to drive new contractor partner referrals and maximize loan volume. In this role, you will support relationships with key strategic partners; understanding their most critical needs, engaging and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class solutions, and working with internal and external executives to identify and deliver on critical growth opportunities. You will also support new business development opportunities, helping identify and engage with prospective strategic partners from initial to contact, all the way through launching the partnership.
What You'll Do
- Support ongoing relationship with strategic ecosystem partners
- Partner with cross-functional internal teams, including Legal, Marketing, Sales, and Technology, to deliver solutions for our partners
- Coordinate with internal account managers to drive high-quality and compliant loan volume
- Track metrics to evaluate partners’ performance, assess potential, and deliver insights to partners
- Identify strategic opportunities to expand relationship and penetration
- Gather market intelligence and identify new growth opportunities
- Develop and optimize sales operations processes, collateral, and other needs to support the partnership
- Develop deep understanding of competitive landscape and identify key priorities and differentiation opportunities to provide unique value for current and prospective partnerships
- Extensive travel required
What you bring to the team
- 2+ year experience winning, supporting, and growing large accounts and/or partnership networks
- Experience with the Home Improvement industry; knowledge of residential home improvement lending platform financial products
- Experience with custom problem solving for large partners with unique needs
- Experience aligning internal stakeholders, building consensus around innovatively solving new problems efficiently
- Strong prioritization sense for what truly needs changing in order to grow and delight customers
- Experience presenting to, and engaging with internal and external executives; identifying and pitching strategic partner growth opportunities Â
- Experience in B2B sales and/or business development
- Experience with CRM required; comfort with POS technology, analytics and data
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spiritÂ
