Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Senior Manager Business Intelligence to join our Finance team in Indianapolis. This position is responsible for managing a team of analysts that will provide Business Intelligence (BI) support for the Americas region of a global business. The BI team will be responsible for data management, data quality, information architecture, and the daily information flow from multiple systems.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Provides critical data and information support to the America's Region leadership team in support of strategic goals
  • Provides leadership to a team that supports data quality, data management, and data analytics
  • Partners with IT to support improvements in data architecture including any merger or alignment of ERP, CRM, and other reporting systems
  • Leads the effort to translate business data needs to clear, concise requirements that can be executed by IT with minimal questions or delays
  • Ensures that data needs are prioritized in accordance with the needs of the business and that redundant or irrelevant reporting is discontinued
  • Develops, implements, and embeds processes and tools that will maintain integrity and accuracy of Master Data flowing in/out of Salesforce.com (SFDC), related ERP systems and other reporting systems
  • Develops data management program that includes data quality, data management, data architecture, data strategy and data operations functions for customers and contacts in SFDC and other master data within ERP and reporting systems
  • Defines and documents data integrity checks and maintenance best practices ensuring data hygiene in our CRM system and ERP systems as our organization scales
  • Creates architecture and sustaining support for collection and analysis of all new lead and contact data
  • Assists in the development of internal audits and controls to ensure integrity of business processes and customer data
  • Ensures that the data team builds queries and scripts/procedures to retrieve and aggregate data from multiple disparate sources into digestible and actionable formats
  • Manages both dormakaba and ad-hoc data integrity projects such as CRM data clean up and contact data enrichment to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data
  • Develops effective visualizations based on large, disparate data sets
  • Supports marketing data segmentation and prospect/lead sourcing for marketing and sales
  • Builds singular process to review and onboard customer data, minimizing time to onboard across all tools, harmonizes data across CRM and ERP systems
  • Proficiently cleanses, blends, and analyzes data using a combination of tools such as SQL, SAP BI, Power BI, Tableau or similar
  • Develops processes for reporting and analytics automation and deployment for sales and marketing
  • Extracts data and use spreadsheets, database tools, and other techniques to perform analysis
  • Analyzes existing processes, recommends improvements, and implements innovative improvements of operations processes and tools that accelerate business impact
  • Develops project plans, timelines, procedures, tools/templates that support the goals of the business

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS)
  • 5+ years' experience of technical leadership
