Position Summary

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager, Demand & Supply Planning will be responsible for the implementation and oversight of core global planning processes in the ANZ (Australia New Zealand) and Asia regions; including demand and supply forecasting, inventory planning, scenario planning as well as the analysis and reporting of key metrics. This role will create and maintain analytical forecast models, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, product management, finance, operations, and other sources. This individual will aggregate the demand and supply requirements for products across all phases of the life cycle, to include New Product Introduction (NPI) and End-of-Sale (EOS) / End-of-Life (EOL). She/He will be responsible for leading regional S&OP processes and participating in the global reconciliation and alignment processes.

As the business continues to evolve and grow, she/he will be responsible for developing tools and capabilities that support Light & Wonder’s strategic imperatives and transformation objectives that drive forecast accuracy as well as profitability and efficient cash flow.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the leader and functional owner of the development and refinement of short, medium and long-term demand and supply forecasts for the production of Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM), Tables, Utilities, and Electronic Table Games (TUETG), and Systems lines of business.
  • Provide forward-looking service forecasts to meet contractual maintenance requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective planning process that aligns with the existing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) programs.
  • Identify and communicate constraints that may impact the achievement of the business demand.
  • Develops an inventory policy based on risks and opportunities and align with achievement of global inventory turns target.
  • Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach with key business partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain relevant reports.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent management experience.
  • 5-7 years of supply chain, forecasting, or planning experience.
  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP), S&OP training
  • Must be able to travel – up to one trip per quarter to international locations

Preferred Traits, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to collaborate with sales, finance, product management, and global supply chain partners.
  • Experience in new product introduction, scenario planning, and end-of-life management.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and building/developing reports.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as the ability to manage large data sets.
  • Operate with a high degree of connectedness, transparency, and clarity to ensure common understanding of requirements, issues, and actions; listen to stakeholders and distill information into pertinent and actionable content.
  • Ability to adapt to the pace and dynamic nature of the business; process data, information and feedback with speed and communicate outcomes, alternatives and actions plans with appropriate urgency.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic view while operating at a level of fine detail; correlate portfolio priorities and strategy to daily operations and decision making within the supply chain environment.

  • This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
