We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Technology to join our Enterprise Technology Manufacturing Team in Richmond, VA.
In this role you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the technology strategy, implementation, and optimization of all systems within the supply chain function. Specifically, this role is responsible for optimizing Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Scheduling and Labor Management technology across Altria's supply chain.
Job Responsibilities:• Lead the Development and implementation of a technology strategy aligned with the overall supply chain and business objectives.• Evaluate new technologies and trends to find opportunities for innovation and improvement.• Lead the implementation of new technologies to streamline supply chain processes and improve efficiency.• Support the implementation of IBP and S&OE processes across the enterprises.• Use analytics and business intelligence tools to derive insights from supply chain data, enabling better decision-making.• Work closely with client departments, including Supply Chain Logistics, Procurement and Customer Supply Chain to understand their technology needs and align solutions accordingly.• Foster collaboration between D&T teams and supply chain client organizations to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach.• Identify and mitigate potential risks related to technology disruptions in the supply chain.• Drive innovation initiatives to improve processes, such as automation, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.• Continuously assess and improve existing technology solutions to adapt to changing business needs.• Establish partnerships with clients, vendors and peers. Understand and apply techniques to work constructively and collaboratively to achieve desired results.• Communicate effectively with partners at all levels, including executives, to provide updates on technology initiatives and their impact on the supply chain.
Job Qualifications:• A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, supply chain management, business, or a related field is typically required.• Substantial experience in information technology, with a focus on supply chain systems, logistics, or related areas.• Previous leadership experience in managing technology teams and coordinating the implementation of sophisticated supply chain solutions.• Familiarity with new technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT, and blockchain as they apply to supply chain operations.• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing large-scale technology projects, including system integrations and implementations.• Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources effectively, and deliver projects on time and within budget.• Excellent leadership skills and ability to encourage and guide a diverse team of technology professionals.• Experience in selecting and managing technology vendors ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
