About the role

Spanx is seeking a results-driven Senior Manager, Marketing Operations & Systems to lead the development and implementation of streamlined marketing and creative processes. This role is integral in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing strategies, optimizing workflows, and driving successful business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail marketing operations, process improvement, and a proven track record of implementing scalable solutions within complex digital marketing environments.

The Senior Manager, Marketing Operations & Systems at Spanx supports spearheading the development and enhancement of a robust integrated marketing processes and brand creative workflows. Your primary focus will be on optimizing efficiency, driving cross-functional collaboration, accounting for agility with business demands and ensuring the seamless execution of marketing campaigns. You will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement, design scalable solutions, and implement best practices that align with our business objectives and overall marketing strategy. As a member of the Brand Team, you will play an integral role in further achieving, maintaining, and surpassing the hyper-growth journey that is Spanx. 

This role can be based in NYC or Atlanta, requires weekly in office work Tuesday-Thursday, and reports into our Vice President, Brand & Integrated Marketing.

  • Develop, implement, and manage streamlined integrated marketing processes that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing messaging execution and delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Product Marketing, Performance & Growth Marketing and Creative, to identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Lead the evaluation of existing marketing workflows and tools, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Establish and maintain documentation for marketing processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and training materials, ensuring consistency and clarity across the marketing team
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of implemented processes, identifying areas for further improvement and optimization
  • Implement project management methodologies to ensure timely and efficient delivery of marketing campaigns, while maintaining quality standards and accounting for business changes and needs
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the marketing team, encouraging feedback, and proactively seeking opportunities to enhance processes and workflows
  • Collaborate with the IT department to leverage technology solutions that support marketing operations and streamline workflow automation
Qualifications

We require…

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in retail marketing operations, with a focus on process development and improvement
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable marketing processes within a complex business environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for process enhancement
  • Excellent project management abilities, including the capacity to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and other relevant marketing tools to drive process automation and optimization
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management
  • A strategic mindset with a strong focus on innovation and continuous process improvement, driven by a passion for excellence and operational efficiency
  • Ability to identify and anticipate stakeholder needs to develop potential solutions
  • Ability to establish functional relationships to promote best practices and foster teamwork
  • Actionable team goals set forth to provide clarity and direction enabling others to execute
  • Ability to effectively manage and support the career development of direct reports to ensure job satisfaction and retention
