About the Job:

Taulia is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our DevOps team and help scale our platform worldwide. As a Senior Manager you will lead and mentor a talented global DevOps team responsible for GCP based Taulia-SAP cloud platform. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead Taulia’s DevOps function.
• Manage hiring, retention, and talent development to create a culture of execution excellence coupled with innovation.
• Collaborate with management to translate Taulia-SAP technology initiatives into SMART objectives for DevOps team.
• Continuously enhance our 24/7 oncall and Incident Management process, Lead blameless post-mortems and collaborate with other engineering leads to enhance platform stability.
• Be a hands-on leader for Platform design, IaC, Observability, CI/CD and cloud cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing SRE/DevOps teams of 8 or more production engineers and Tech leads.
• Hands-on experience managing through objectives, conducting regular 1:1s and lead weekly team meetings.
• 7+ years of experience as an individual contributor supporting high availability production services hosted in public cloud with 1+ years in GCP.
• Significant hands-on experience with Kubernetes and various container technologies.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems and various protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, SSH, NTP)
• Demonstrable proficiency in IaC and automation especially using Terraform, Ansible, Bash and Python.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call and ability to work occasional off hours.
• Excellent communication skills. Ability to present technical content to management and engineering teams. 

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with database administration especially MySQL and Cassandra.
• Past experience working with 3rd party audits (SOC2, ISO27001 etc).
• Certifications in Project Management, GCP, Kubernetes.

 Compensation is based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to): skills, depth of work experience, certifications, geography, etc. Total compensation for this role includes a generous benefits program, RSU incentive plan and annual performance bonus.
