The Senior Manager of US Brand Marketing at BUXOM, with the Vice President of US Marketing, is responsible for driving the growth and development of all categories within the portfolio through the proposal and execution of the product strategy and its promotional calendar. This position is integral as the brand voice, an advocate and a leader who will ensure the brand DNA is communicated consistently and accurately across all consumer-facing interactions (product, assets, content).
This senior role will own the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, across innovation and strategic core products, with a key focus on broadening and raising product and brand awareness, which leads to customer acquisition. This role is responsible for leading campaign execution with cross-functional teams including Global Brand Marketing, Social and Communications, Product Development, Media, Creative, VM & Channel Marketing, E-Commerce, Sales Operations and Education to help create a strong, cohesive, seamless brand experience across all touchpoints along the customer journey.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the innovation planning, launch execution and the development of effective 360° marketing and media campaigns with the assistance of the Vice President, for implementation across the BUXOM omni-channel distribution model.
- Influence long-term global innovation pipeline by regularly communicating US retailer/commercial needs, including gaps, opportunities, executional mandatories, best-in-class examples, market trends, and competitive insights.
- Help develop, manage, and refine the US Marketing strategy which is rooted in analytics, consumer data and competitive research to ensure each plan capitalizes on new market opportunities, maximizes ROI, and meets/exceeds current business goals.
- Ensure proper collection and monitoring of data to assess ongoing performance and KPI tracking.
- Develop brand media strategy and category priorities with full funnel approach, in partnership with Global/Channel Marketing and Paid Media teams.
- Assist in media brief creation for new launches, always on core programs, and retailer co-op initiatives.
- Create and communicate marketing campaign timelines and update cross-functional partners on an on-going basis.
- Lead execution of all campaign tactics by managing, organizing, and collaborating across various teams.
- Analyze post-campaign performance and assess learnings to report ROI and direct future planning.
- Manage US Marketing budget inclusive of consumer sampling programs, T&E and non-working media.
- Partner with the Brand.com and Education & Artistry teams to implement overall brand marketing strategy and brand voice into all omni content and e-commerce/ BA experience.
- Partner with Channel Marketing to ensure plans are tailored to each individual account and their category goals.
- Direct the overarching sampling strategy for the US, in partnership with Global Marketing, and cascade strategy and assortment to Channel Marketing. Liaise with Finance on overall financial sampling budget for the total US Market.
- Manage SKU assortment (existing products, new launches, kits, holiday) and discontinuation plans. Communicate annual price increases to the US cross-functional teams, including the development of price increase analysis and elasticity projections.
- Manage the Retail Sales Forecast/Budgeting for the brand, actualizing and reflowing as needed. Partner closely with the Sales Planning and Demand Planning teams for monthly/quarterly LE submissions and reviews.
- Manage forecasting of new product offerings with channels and Planners to ensure accurate methodology, sales targets and key dates are met.
- Assess post-mortem launch performance and share key learnings. Leverage results for re-support campaigns.
- Research and evaluate new and innovative marketing tactics, agencies, and partnerships to continuously evolve marketing plans.
- Stay abreast of competition, new launches and market performance through on-going research and NPD reporting/analytics. Partner with the Senior Analyst on key monthly takeaways.
- Present strategies, campaigns, and analyses at internal meetings and to senior leadership teams.
- Develop and manage a full-time Brand Marketing intern.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
- Beauty industry experience, within the US Market, strongly preferred. Someone with Makeup experience will have priority.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience developing and executing multimedia, multifaceted marketing campaigns and product launch strategies with the end goal of acquiring new customers and raising brand/product awareness
- Responsible for coaching and developing junior talent
- Ability to build compelling marketing presentations for a variety of business needs
- High Microsoft Office proficiency
- Exceptional analytical skills and financial acumen required
- Knowledge of current advertising and marketing trends, media industry news, consumer behavior reports, entertainment/pop culture and retail innovation to understand how best to market to our target consumerÂ

In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
The pay range for this position is $100,000 – $161,000.
The range listed is just one component of Orveon’s total compensation package for employees.
