Position Summary

As the Senior Sales Manger, of our largest and most strategic customer relationships, you will report into our Southern Regional Vice President and you will sit on the Southern Region leadership team and lead a team of major account managers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Management of Italy major account sales team.
  • Management duties include the supervision of exempt and/or non-exempt level staff.
  • Responsible for developing and presenting strategic and tactical plans.
  • Responsible for an annual revenue target.
  • Responsible for sales quotas, budgets, and account management.
  • Developing and cultivating relationships with key channel partners, major customers and other industry leaders.
  • Assistance with the sales cycle in support of the region’s sales strategy. 
  • Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of sales in accordance with company policy. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 
  • Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven track record of achievement as a sales leader focused on selling security, cloud, software, or infrastructure solutions. This should include channel and integrator experience.
  • Proven success in working in a very fast-paced and pressure filled environment 
  • History of repeatedly achieving and exceeding quarterly quotas 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills 
  • Reputation for integrity, honesty, fairness, and discretion 
  • History of providing the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour towards both customers and employees
  • Experience managing remote and hybrid sales teams

Qualification

  • BA/BS or Engineer degree from an accredited college or university or relevant work experience.
  • Significant experience selling complex infrastructure solutions in the Italy market.
  • Solid personal knowledge of CXO (CIO, CTO, CISO…) with the TOP 100 customers in Italy

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Duties are performed while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.

· Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

· Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane.
