As a Senior Manager Tech Lead in the Global Technology Commercial Products & Platforms team will work along the Product Manager, Designer, global engineering teams and vendors to build and improve the McDonald's digital stack in the area of Offers and Loyalty!
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Be responsible for code quality and velocity of internal and external engineering squads, ensuring consistency to coding standards, and the use of best practices.
• Attend Agile ceremonies and provide mentorship for engineering squads.
• Maintain documentation standards for all shipped software.
• Address technical queries from product partners and remain accountable for technical solutions.
• Accountable for deployment of new features including QA, push to production and defect remediation.
• Lead and/or mentor junior Tech Leads.
• Partner with the cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment and compliance to standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies and practices, evaluating potential opportunities and impact on our products and ways of working.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in software development, working in a technical role, with extensive knowledge of developer workflows, processes, and tools.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices including TDD and other testing practices, CI/CD, and containerized deployment using a cloud provider.
• Experience partnering with collaborators in a large-scale, sophisticated, global organization.
• Experience developing highly available services in a cloud infrastructure with excellent understanding of the latest trends and technologies.
• Experience with the Agile Software Development methodology and practices.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain sophisticated technical decisions to non-technical partners.
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies is a plus: C# and ASP.NET Core, Amazon AWS, Kubernetes, mobile app development.
