As the Senior Manager, Transfer Pricing you will directly oversee all aspects of PerkinElmer’s transfer pricing policy and operations supported by both internal Tax personnel as well as the company’s partnership with a well-regarded Big 4 accounting firm.  This role will expose the right candidate to a diverse set of responsibilities along with high visibility to upper management.  This role will report directly to the Vice President, Global Tax.
Location: Mostly remote with some travel 2-4 times a month to either Shelton, CT or Woburn, MA for meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall management of PerkinElmer’s global transfer pricing policies in alignment with the company’s business profile and structure.
- Directly monitor and manage the company’s intercompany pricing to ensure returns are in line with arm’s length principles.
- Advise and collaborate with interdepartmental stakeholders regarding transactions and restructurings.
- Oversee and ensure proper intercompany agreements are in place and current.
- Calculate and effectuate operational transfer pricing calculations.
- Work with external advisors to ensure accurate valuation of IP.
- Liaise with external advisors to ensure proper documentation (both master and local country) is in place and current.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with cross-functional business partners across Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Legal, and IT.
- Defend and support transfer pricing positions in local country tax audits. Including providing necessary documentation.
- Oversee country-by-country reporting (CbCR) requirements & related compliance.
- Assist in the analysis/calculations/compliance related to OECD Pillar 1 and 2.
- Lead advanced pricing agreements.
- Lead competent authority proceedings.
- Assist with tax reporting and compliance to ensure proper reporting of cross-border transactions.
- Responsible for global transfer pricing planning around restructuring, acquisition, or divestiture.
- Oversight of the post-acquisition integration from M&A activities.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting, or similar business degree.
- 10+ years of transfer pricing experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm, multinational enterprise or combination of both.
- Strong technical understanding of global transfer pricing regulations including OECD BEPS
- Strong performer with the ability to be a hands-on problem solver with robust analytical skills.
- Proficient in SAP/Hyperion and Excel
- Innovative mindset with ability to identify areas of opportunity to ensure best-in-class policies and controls.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in economics or related study.
The annual compensation range for this full-time position is $142,000 to $200,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
