What You Will Be Doing
We're looking for an insightful and passionate content marketer to produce and publish various types of content that promotes and educates audiences about the benefits of ChargePoint's groundbreaking technology.
You will contribute to a wide variety of digital content platforms – longer form content, websites, blogs, email marketing campaigns, white papers, as well as “snackable” short form, listicles, infographics, videos, social media, visual content, and more (bring your own ideas).
We are looking for a flexible, self-starter who will demonstrate adaptability, creativity, productivity, and high content quality. If you are passionate about tone, voice, and grammar and are a storyteller with excellent writing and editing skills, this might be the role for you.
You will work closely with marketing stakeholders to inform our content strategy and improve the performance of our content to support ChargePoint’s business targets.
Your deep understanding of and demonstrated experience with the EU and North America markets will ensure the content works for the locale, while guarding ChargePoint’s global brand voice and ensuring nothing that doesn't adhere to our brand and style guidelines makes it out the door.
To succeed in this role, you must thrive in an early market environment with a strong bias for action and rolling up your sleeves to get things done. In addition, you must work well cross-functionally.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Proven experience working with locales in EU as well as North America, and a deep understanding of the cultural and business nuances in these locales
- Develop and deliver long-form content, as well as short, snackable, and video content for company website, blogs, white papers, brochures, social, and sales collaterals
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop marketing assets required for effective demand-generation programs
- Create and follow an editorial calendar, collaborating with other members of the content production team to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Create and maintain content journey maps, style guides, and taxonomies; coordinate with other content writers to ensure standards and brand consistency

- Conduct research on industry-related topics to develop original content
- Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience
- Maintain an understanding of content assets and performance, conducting regular audits to ensure content is fresh and relevant
- Work with the analytics, digital and demand generation teams to develop and report out metrics for content performance measurement and improvement
- Optimize all content for SEO to maximize the online visibility in search results
- Review and implement process changes to drive operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with legal standards (e.g., copyright and data protection)
- EV charging experience a plus
- Stay up to date with EV category developments and generate new content ideas
Qualifications
- 7+ years experience as a content marketer, preferably experience both in B2B and B2C companies
- French, German, Dutch language proficiencies a plus
- Excellent content creation and writing skills, including the ability to write in different styles for different audience types and goals (i.e., demand, thought leadership, sales enablement)
- Working knowledge of project management tools such as Asana a plus
- Knowledge of content management
- Demonstrated understanding of digital content channels
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables concurrently
- Proven experience working under pressure to deliver high-quality output in a short period
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Location
Full-time position remotely in NY or Eastern US region
ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.Â
The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $65,000 to $136,500. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
