Job Description
The Sr Marketing Manager is responsible for both upstream and downstream marketing and will develop the strategic and tactical initiatives for the franchise he or she manages on a global basis. In addition, the Marketing Manager is responsible for market assessment, competitor analysis, new product development projects, managing commercial expenses and managing the franchise team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving key innovation and sustaining projects through development and commercial processes by leading cross functional teams. Works with teams to ensure timely execution and meeting of key deliverables.
- Includes working with country/region marketers. Work includes providing insights and oversight to voice of customer, developing pricing strategies and business cases and leading commercial launch excellence.
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical marketing plans. Responsible for long term goals and objectives for the market segment
- Acts as a liaison to the regions, ensuring marketing plans deliver against the global PIVC platform strategy and drive achievement of revenue/GP targets within the region
- Define markets, determine market needs, and devise selling techniques as they relate to short and long-range profitability goals based on customer preferences, competitive positioning, and market dynamics.
- Leads market models to identify and monitor key growth opportunities globally. Works closely with regions to update and analyze data to identify trends
- Work closely with R&D for the timely development and release of product line extensions, product platforms, and enabling new product technologies. Lead translation of market needs to design features.
- Develop and train a team of Product Managers, Associate Product Managers, and Marketing Associates as applicable.
Additional Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
- Work with the regional commercial teams to attain segment and platform commercial goals.
- Lead market development initiatives to support adoption of product portfolio .
- Working closely with the Market Access teams develop HEOR tools to support economic value of product portfolio.
- Responsible for segmentation and targeting initiatives to support commercial excellence.
- Develop and execute market research plans including collecting user inputs.
- Identify new growth opportunities through various methodologies.
- Responsible for commercial marketing expense management.
- Create new Global Launch Plans and documents to include timing, release manuals, slides, video, competitive positioning, pricing, promotion, and delivery. Develop sales training materials.
- Complete market research to analyze/define trends in market share, competitive dynamics, customer buying patterns, new product introductions, pricing, trends, etc.
- Responsible for Demand Governance to ensure consistent supply and capacity planning. Serves as key liaison with all regions to proactively identify and resolve potential issues
- Develop pricing strategy .
- Evaluate product line expansion/pruning based on sales and profitability and recommend PLCM strategy
- Create promotional materials.
- Establish and cultivate relationships with Key Opinion Leader.
- Lead global training initiatives for product portfolio .
- Support field sales organization on technical product inquiries.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business or Technical Field; MBA preferred.
