The RoleÂ
We are looking for a highly-motivated Senior Marketing Technology Manager to join our team. This is a fast-paced role responsible for optimizing, scaling and producing the data and technology needs that drive multi-channel campaigns, and customer journeys that deliver targeted, relevant, and timely information.Â
The ideal candidate is a technology operations professional and has hands- on skills & expertise with CRM tools and modern features like journey builders, personalization tools and customer segmentation as well as experience with Digital Analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.), Tag Management Solutions (Tealium, GTM etc.), Data and Identity Management Platforms (Neustar, Liveramp etc.)
You understand business requirements and solutions effectively to bring campaigns to life.Â
Responsibilities
- Design and implement innovative and future-proof solutions drawing on the current marketing technology landscape and industry best practices to enable a seamless customer journey
- Oversee tagging & tracking across all customer touchpoints (ads, email, affiliates, partners, website etc.) to help understand the full funnel customer journey & drive insights
- Lead developing, identifying, requesting and implementation of data feeds, custom events, and contact properties in or out of the ESP platform to deliver on desired customer communication goals
- Work with the engineering and analytics team to set up the infrastructure of the ESP and create data attributes which will allow us to both grow our targetable channels (SMS, push) as well as aid in personalization/segmentation for lifecycle efforts/batched campaigns
- Manage and protect marketable universes by closely monitoring deliverability rates, bounce/block reports and resolve any issues
- QA existing and new workflow design and set up, including recommending and/or refining targeting segmentation, recommending optimization rules, auditing waterfalls produced by the team and conducting pre-deployment checks
- Proactively identify opportunities that help achieve the goals of the marketing team, including personalization, and process identification
- When needed: Make updates as needed, to copy and URL links in transactional and marketing workflow emails and perform end-to-end email campaign production including coding dynamic, personalized emails in HTML, setting-up and deploying identified tactics
- Ideate and own initiatives to leverage marketing technologies to enable/execute acquisition, engagement and nurture programs across the entire prospect and customer journey funnel across key touchpoints such as ads, email, in product, etc.
- Participate in Email Creative review meetings to ensure that email copy and design meet template specs and will render well across inbox providers and devices
Desired Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in email and digital marketing, with hands-on production including HTML coding, automated customer journeys, A/B testing and audience queries
- Experience using Iterable a plus
- Experience with tagging implementation across ad platforms (Google ads, FB, DV 360) as well as web analytics (GA 360)
- Experience with Digital Analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics etc.), Tag Management Solutions (Tealium, GTM etc.), Data and Identity Management Platforms (Neustar, Liveramp etc.)
- Expertise in customer databases: relational database structure, data relationships, import and export processes. Previous experience setting up and deploying Email, SMS, Push, and In App campaigns
- Knowledge of email performance metrics and calculations. Comfortable pulling data
- Knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CCPA, CASL laws and compliance
- Very strong attention to detail, well organized and able to prioritize amongst numerous projects and tasks.
- Excellent communication skills
Base Compensation Range
$110,000 - $140,000 annually
Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission and equity. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
