Senior Mobile Automation QA

In this role, you will collaborate with other QA’s and the wider team (developers, product managers, business analysts) to understand requirements and identify test cases suitable for automation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Design and develop robust and maintainable automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation frameworks and tools
• Execute automated test scripts and analyse test results to identify defects and ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications
• Participate in continuous improvement of the automation testing process
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing
• Perform test data preparation and set up automation testing environments as needed
• Contribute to the enhancement of test automation frameworks and infrastructure
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational challenges and bottlenecks
• Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and quality assurance
• Work on improvement of CI/CD pipelines in teams
• Coordinate with other team members, design and product teams.

The following key points are required:

• 3+ years of overall AQA experience in mobile automation
• In-depth knowledge of test automation principles, frameworks, and best practices
• Strong in JavaScript/TypeScript language
• Knowledge of Android and iOS development kits
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Detox, Playwright or similar
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Backend testing experience is required, database knowledge is a nice to have
• Knowledge of design patterns
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail
• Very good understanding of development lifecycle, testing practices and quality assurance processes
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
• Open and friendly personality, as well as drive, initiative, problem-solving mindset, excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science (or equivalent).
