PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Interface with the Global Network Services Teams.
  • Configuration and management of Riverbed AppResponse Netprofiler, Flowgateway, WAN Optimization, Wireshark Packet Analyzer, Netbrain and LiveAction/LiveNX.
  • Configuring and Managing Cisco Viptela SD-WAN environment
  • Thorough understanding of network services, (i.e., high-availability, DNS/DHCP, IPAM, NTP, SNMP), Network Security, IP Routing, ipsec/SSL VPN, NAT, LAN/WAN technologies
  • Install, configure and maintain different Cisco Devices - Switching and Routing, F5 Load Balancing, VIPs, certificates, irules, virtual partitioning), and AWS VPC/TGW environments.
  • Design, configure, and maintain complex datacenter enterprise switching environments.
  • Design, configure, and maintain complex wireless networking that supports open or secured access and the ability to support voice applications.
  • Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, Ether-Channel, LACP, vPC, layer2 trunking.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software to resolve operational issues and restore services. Work with ISP vendors to diagnose and resolve issues. Interpret diagnostic output and leverage packet captures for analysis.
  • Maintain network security standards through proper configurations.
  • Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors etc. to provide technical assistance and support.

Requirements:
  • Strong experience configuring and maintaining network monitoring in Riverbed AppResponse Netprofiler, Flowgateway, WAN Optimization, Wireshark Packet Analyzer, Netbrain and LiveAction/LiveNX.
  • Experience providing subject matter expert (SME) role with Cisco series 6K/7K/9K, C8500s routing and switching
  • Experience in designing and supporting Cisco Viptela SDWA.
  • Experience with AWS network infrastructure related components (Transit Gateway).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written (documentation / diagrams) and verbally
  • Technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a dynamic business environment.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience with installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining multi-VRF Enterprise Cisco environments, and interoperability with other vendor platforms.
  • Experience mentoring and sharing knowledge with other team members.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a mature ITSM environment.
  • Minimum 2-3 years data center facility experience is highly preferred.
  • Must be available for on-call rotation with global network team to cover incident response and maintenance.

Desired skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Certifications - Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCIE or relevant vendor certifications
  • Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOX, and GDPR
