Senior Oracle Database Admin - Oracle GoldenGate

We are looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with Oracle Goldengate 21c Microservices experience.

What you’ll do as a Senior Database Administrator

• Deploy Goldengate 21c Microservices to replicate data between Oracle and Snowflake databases
• Maintain Oracle 19c database clusters
• Maintain DR site with Oracle standby databases
• Automate deployment and maintenance tasks
• Work with development on design and code optimization
• Participate in the on-call rotation

• Have experience in performance tuning of high-transactional OLTP databases
• Have experience in PL/SQL programming and be passionate about automation of routine tasks
• OEM use and administration

Nice to haves

• Have basic knowledge of RedHat linux
• Have basic understanding of SAN and storage arrays
• Have basic understanding of computer networks
• Have experience in bash or python programming
• Have experience in ATEX administration and programming

Physical Requirements

• We have weekly on-call rotation (24x7xWeek). Need to be able to cover your rotation.
• We have Monthly maintenance window on 3rd Sunday of the month 3:30am-7:30am ET. Need to be able to participate in the maintenance window activities.
