What You Will Be Doing
  • Design Printed circuit boards that meet design constraints and rules.
  • Work with electrical engineers to design circuit boards assemblies including high voltage, high power and high-speed PCBs.
  • Solve electrical and mechanical design issues making sure each complete PCB design package will correctly interface with all existing mechanical and thermal assemblies.
  • Work with our internal DFM team and PCB fab vendors to create stack-ups, obtain impedance specifications, and resolve technical issues during the PCB fabrication process.
  • Create complete output packages including gerbers, fabrication and assembly drawings, odb++, IPC, and placement files.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand engineering needs and apply that understanding to deliver products that meet customer needs.
  • Strong analytical with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
  • Strong background on designing high-speed boards.
Requirements
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • Electrical Engineering background preferred.
    • 7+ years of PCB Layout design experience.
    • 7+ years of using Cadence Allegro and Constraint Manager.
    • Experience designer High-speed boards.
    • Knowledge of common manufacturing processes.
    • Familiar with Arena, Confluence and Jira.
