We have an incredible team at Klaviyo - collaborative, capable, diverse, fun - and we won’t settle for less. We’re looking for a passionate Senior People Analytics Specialist to join our team. Part internal consultant and part analytics powerhouse, this person will play a critical role in effecting our people analytics strategy as we scale Klaviyo to the next level of maturity. This role will report to the Director of People Analytics.
How You Will Make a Difference:
- You’ll be a strong internal consultant: you’ll build strong, trusted relationships with our stakeholders, understand business needs and build solutions that empower our stakeholders with the right insights at the right time.
- You’ll synthesize: the most important thing we do in people analytics is answer the “so what”.You’ll regularly distill complex and nuanced data into simple and actionable insights for our stakeholders.
- You’ll be a storyteller: to make a tangible impact, we must effectively communicate our findings. You’ll regularly lean on the pyramid principle and UX design principles to communicate findings to our stakeholders in a way that resonates with them.
- You’ll be a strong analyst: in one week you may hop from doing a survival analysis of attrition into building a waterfall chart in sheets then into building a new solution within Tableau or Visier. You’ll have a strong technical foundation upon which to lean as you keep up with the technical demands of this role.Â
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience in a quantitative or analytics role.Â
- You’re good with analytics and strategy – but you’re great with communication and working with stakeholders.
- Experience with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Demonstrated experience using Tableau, Power BI or other dashboard tools to build meaningful analyses.
- Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis – especially hypothesis testing, regressions and forecasting.
- Experience with analysis in Python or R a plus.
- You are intellectually curious. You have strong analytical skills, proven experience understanding and effectively using data and metrics to implement processes/workflows.Â
- You enjoy building things and continually strive to do things better than the status quo.Â
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
