This position is hybrid, however you must be within commuting distance of the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA to go in office one to two days per week. This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance to start.

What will you do in this role?

• Design and develop enterprise automation solutions using a commercial platform-as-a-service environment - Sharepoint and others. The development will include onboarding workflows, dashboards, and web services to other enterprise tools and security services.
• Develop automation scripts for the continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline using commercial technologies and cloud services.
• Collaborate with the DoD process improvement team to review processes and determine alternatives to automate them.
• Analyze user needs and develop software solutions.
• May also analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
• May also manage automation solutions design, development, deployment, and maintenance activities as well as perform testing and quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master's and 6+ years of prior relevant experience; additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of software development experience; including JavaScript, UIPath, Python, C++, HTML, SQL, and Web Services.
• Experience with process improvement initiatives and process automation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and excellent time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• U.S. Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with C++, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Java, Javascripting, HTML, AJAX, and GUI design
• Experience developing in a platform-as-a-service environment (preferably SharePoint)
• Experience with developing web applications deployed to the cloud - preferably AWS.
• Experience scripting with Python and java programming languages.
• RESTful API development experience.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
