About the Company

CAMP is a Family Experience Company that helps answer the question “What should we do today?” through a unique combination of Retail & Media. Launched in December of 2018, CAMP operates nine retail locations in New York, Texas, Connecticut, Massachusetts, California, and New Jersey, and serves families everywhere via its digital platforms.

CAMP will open stores in other major markets in the coming months.

What is the role?

To support CAMP’s strong growth trajectory we’re looking for an experienced product analyst to  partner closely with the product and engineering teams to lead best practices in structuring and deriving insights for company-wide initiatives. 

Our business has 4 major revenue drivers: retail, ecommerce, shows/experiences, and sponsorship. This makes our jobs complex and data rich. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will be the owner of business definitions across all business lines to ensure teams are leveraging the data + insights they generate in a consistent way. You’ll also be partnering with product, engineering, and business leaders on a regular basis to support key initiatives by evaluating customer behavior, operating changes, and new features/product lines.  

What will you do at CAMP?

• Developing and maintaining data infrastructure for business-critical reporting.
• Communicating product health, experiment results, opportunities, etc. to product/business teams.
• Utilizing data to identify opportunities for growth, retention, and areas of friction within the product.
• Influencing and informing product/business teams through presentation of data-based recommendations.
• Bringing a deep understanding of growth & optimization best practices.
• Synthesizing large data sets into digestible information.
• Develop your technical skills – particularly in SQL, Google Analytics, Looker.

What will you bring to CAMP?

• 6-8 years of experience years of quantitative analysis in a business facing capacity
• 3+ years of SQL experience
• 2+ years of experience in Tableau, Looker, or any comparable BI tool
• Knowledge of LookML & dbt
• Experience in Google analytics, Amplitude or any comparable web analytics tool
• Experience working with large scale data sets of varying granularities
• Ability to transform raw data into structured data tables
• Superior analytical, problem-structuring, and problem-solving skills; experience synthesizing data into actionable insights
• Nice to have: Strong grasp of statistics and statistical software (R, Python, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and relentless follow through
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field such as Business Analytics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, etc.
• You are authorized to work lawfully in the United States
