Job Summary

Oura is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Design Manager, Commerce to focus on our web-based Commerce products and tools. 

As the Senior Product Design Manager, Commerce, you will serve as the product design lead for our web-based Commerce products, including but not limited to the eCommerce website, membership products, and B2B commerce tools. This role will directly manage other designers, but is also expected to own and drive projects themselves.  

What you will do:

  • UX Design: create outstanding user-centered designs (wireframes, visual mockups, prototypes, design specs) that incorporate business & technical requirements, product findings, and customer feedback. Partner closely with visual designers to ensure brand consistency.
  • Design Strategy: Define and execute UX design strategies and optimizations that align with business goals and user needs 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner closely with your product and engineering teammates to define the product strategy, roadmap, process, and culture. Work with and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders. 
  • User Research: perform ongoing user research to gain insights into user behavior and preferences, translating findings into actionable design improvements
  • Leadership: help drive a culture of excellence while ensuring a positive and highly collaborative experience for all cross-functional teams you work with
  • Management: lead, mentor, and inspire other UX designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture. Motivate the team to design features that help address strategic goals and solve member problems.

Innovation: help the team stay updated on industry trends emerging technologies, and design the best

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have:

  • 8+ years of experience in user experience design or product design, ideally in the eCommerce or Retail space
  • Experience participating in the web product development lifecycle and thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, and data-driven environment
  • Experience working with international groups and distributed teams
  • An innate drive to solve ambiguous, complex problems in simple and creative ways
  • Excellent product thinking and UX design skills
  • Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they’re solving
  • Ability to set the direction for the team by creating clear and impactful strategies
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • High level of self-awareness with a growth mindset that is focused on impact
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills and a passion for experimentation, data and systems thinking a plus

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

  • Region 1 $152,240 - $183,760
  • Region 2 $144,628 - $174,072
  • Region 3 $137,016 - $164,384
