Our Opportunity

As a Senior Product Manager for the Pay Team, you will drive the Pay Experience roadmap to deliver the next generation of AvidXchange's Accounts Payable automation to buyers, suppliers, and internal support teams.

The right candidate will bring a strong product management skillset, coupled with a passion for delivering industry-leading user experiences.

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality user experiences in conjunction with work to transform payment platforms
  • Lead the epic and feature creation process to support buyer, supplier, and internal user experiences. Create the requirements that would feed user stories and UI design.
  • Build alignment between technology leadership, product management, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support (at all levels of the company) on the vision and roadmap.
  • Communicate and present to large groups, executive suite, and conferences on product roadmap, initiatives, etc. Coordinate and communicate at an expert level internally with cross functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the UX/Design team to create wireframes and mockups that visually demonstrate the imagined user experience
  • Demonstrate understanding of API product management, and their critical role in delivering value across consumer types
  • Understands the business and customer goals and objectives; strong advocate for the customer, able to create hypothesis and evaluate multiple solutions to address constraints and scope impact solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge or ability to develop SME level domain knowledge in Avid product suite

Experience, Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience is required within the Product Owner, Product Management, or Business Analyst areas, preferably 4 or more year of experience in Product Management
  • Azure DevOps (TFS), Jira, Rally, or related planning & development tool
  • Proven history of delivering customer experience improvements. API product management is highly desired

Preferred, Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated creative problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Well versed in user centered design and leveraging customer data to drive design changes
  • Experienced working within Agile development methodologies
  • Successful leadership of multiple concurrent product initiatives
  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable, or finance experience preferred
  • B2B and/or FinTech experience
  • SaaS experience
  • Wireframing, prototyping, and user testing experience
