Senior Product Manager - Risk Tools

Role Overview: 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Trading Risk Product Manager to own the evolution of our proprietary trading tool portfolio and work alongside key business stakeholders to execute our innovative product roadmap. This is an exciting and essential role supporting the growth of the business through advancing our operational trading capabilities. 

The successful candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, sharp communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment to deliver value quickly. They be working with a strong international team based across Europe and Africa, so the ability to collaborate across physical and cultural boundaries will be very important.

What You Will Be Doing:  

• Define and maintain the strategic vision and roadmap for sportsbook risk tools and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends.
• Develop requirements and specifications for roadmap initiatives that evolve our proprietary risk tool portfolio.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including trading teams and other sportsbook squads, to gather and refine product requirements, translating them into detailed specifications.
• Promote a outcome-centric approach by leveraging feedback and data to inform product decisions and continuously improve key business metrics.
• Establish and track KPIs to monitor and improve both the efficiency of trading operations and the consumer experience.
• Regularly update internal stakeholders and senior management on product progress, performance, and roadmap changes, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
• Utilise Agile software development methodologies to deploy iterative product improvements with full transparency and adaptability to changing priorities.

What You Need for This Role:  

• Prior experience as a Product Manager with an engineering or trading background, ideally in one of the Sports Betting & gaming, or Fintech industries.
• Prior experience of automating manual processes at scale is advantageous.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with remote cross-functional teams.
• An understanding of engineering concepts to capture technical requirements and effectively communicate them to non-technical audiences.
• A thorough awareness of data and its effective utilisation for problem-solving.
• Outstanding communication skills.
