Job Description


    The Program and Project Management team is searching for an experienced, full-time Senior Program Manager to support our Mid-Market TotalAP Solution. In this position, you will work closely with Software Product Development and Operations teams to successfully deliver critical, agile-driven projects to help MineralTree lead the rapidly expanding Accounts Payable Automation industry. In addition, you will help drive strategic programs spanning the company and report status at the executive level. You will also help establish foundational project and program management tooling and practices across the organization.
    Key responsibilities:

    • Partner with product managers, product owners, engineering teams and customer facing teams to deliver high quality, high-value functionality within committed time frames
    • Initiate, build, and maintain positive relationships with internal customers to ensure effective completion of project work
    • Support teams by creating data-driven program plans and by bringing visibility into progress and roadblocks and by proactively managing risks and setting expectations
    • Facilitate effective communication between teams; ensure alignment, focus, and collaboration on program goals and objectives
    • Report program status to stakeholders and leadership
    • Drive continued improvement of team predictability and quality through the adoption and refinement of Agile practices
    • Apply advanced analysis and problem-solving skills to identify areas of process improvement; propose changes and drive change management
    • Guide and develop clear sprint standards; leverage metrics to drive decisions and improvements, and help establish project and program management practices and tooling that align with industry best practices
    • Work on complex issues, exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques, evaluation criteria for obtaining results and networking with key contacts outside own area of expertise
    • Create a supportive and high performing team environment by establishing trust and transparency through collaboration and communication


    Qualifications:

    • 7-9 years' experience managing complex, technical, cross-organizational projects and programs in a rapidly changing environment
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and mentoring skills
    • High emotional intelligence
    • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence without authority
    • Strong analytical, planning, time management, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and technical individuals at all levels including the executive level
    • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view
    • Experience working in a startup environment with dynamic challenges
    • Experience working with Agile software development teams and a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
    • Experience working with highly configurable Enterprise-grade products is a plus
    • Experience with Accounts Payable processes and/or accounting systems is a plus


    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Degree in a related field of study from an accredited university. Additional related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
    • Project management experience preferably within an established IT project management office or serving as a project manager for a Information Technology department.
    • Minimum of 6 years Agile experience.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Typically Minimum 8+ Years Relevant Exp
    • Broad and extensive knowledge of Agile approaches
    • Proven experience with Agile tools and techniques including User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing and Agile Games.
    • Master's Degree, In a related field of study from an accredited university
    • Certified Scrum Master and Agile Coach Certification
