Senior Project Lead Engineer

Mission statement:

Responsible for the execution of the multi-disciplines engineering & design of substation projects as per Hitachi Energy standard processes, producing solutions, specification & bill of material for projects.

and/or tenders and works with customers to deliver solutions.

Your responsibilities:

• You will work with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feedback and innovating with the customer to drive and deliver improvements, create engineering proposals through coordination of proposal documents and engineering estimate, perform engineering risk analysis and comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of related engineering disciplines.
• You will implement and ensure safety regulation on every projects according to Hitachi Energy Standard, work in accordance with Hitachi Energy procedures using applicable tools, coordinate and create overall technical documentation, review it with customer and get approval.
• You will prepare construction drawings for erection and commissioning according to project scope of work, implement actions to explore all possibilities and eliminate/minimize problems and ensure that project schedules, related to engineering works, are met according to Project Manager's direction.
• You will coordination with all related personnel for smooth functioning, meeting Owner / Engineer periodically and clarify for technical matters, build and maintain Hitachi Energy/Customer relationship and ensure Customer satisfaction, take a lead in technical discussion/meeting with customer and sub-contractor.
• You will review the technical aspects of a contract or bid document and giving justification, clarification or recommendation for any deviation or inconsistency among the document, producing the specification and bill of materials according to the reviewed contract document.
• You will inform technical opportunities and problems to project manager/management.

• University degree in Electrical & Power Engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years relevant experience in substation engineering.
• Able to communicate with people of all levels and able to take pressure.
• Display integrity, positive Attitude and Common Sens, Electrical Expertise, Computer literate and good command of applicable business system.
• Specific knowledge required in: Primary & secondary design for substation, Various substation technology (AIS, GIS, HIS) and solutions (conventional, containerization, etc.) and Safety Training.
• English fluent written and orally.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
