What you'll do on a typical day:

• Lead, execute, and deliver XPO's most important LTL Operational projects
• Follow standard project methodology and a defined SDLC process to lead the project team in creating industry-changing applications for LTL industry
• Manage all aspects of an SDLC process including project timelines, scope, budgets, resources, and delivery
• Coordinate with all business and IT stakeholders to deliver projects
• Work directly with the PMO to continually improve the project methodology, SDLC process, deliverable templates, etc.
• Act as mentor and coach to other project managers on the team
• Execute daily standups with the team and follow up on action items
• Oversee on-site deployment efforts; create and maintain project schedules and commitments including actions, owners, and timeline expectations

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 2 years of experience leading, driving, and delivering large projects with multiple integrated work streams for the entire SDLC process
• Proven experience managing development projects using agile methodologies

It'd be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or electrical engineering

• PMP certified
• Web development, cloud knowledge, Database, and project capitalization

• Experience leading implementations of web/cloud technology projects
• Worked in the operational area of LTL/Logistics or supply chain organization
• Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team of business and IT professionals
• Impeccable verbal and written communications skills to work effectively with senior stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with ability to identify and resolve problems
