Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

Fragomen, an AmLaw 100 Firm and the leading global immigration services provider, is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer. Reporting to the QA Manager, the Senior QA Automation Engineer joins a worldwide technology team supporting the development, customization, and quality assurance of multiple proprietary, homegrown applications. Playwright with TypeScript is the technology you will predominantly use, so strong experience using these is essential. This role will be responsible for automation testing.

How you will make a difference as a Senior QA Automation Engineer with Fragomen:

• Create and execute Automation scripts for ongoing Releases
• Proactively maintain all test automation frameworks
• Proactively build and improve shared libraries
• Provide critical feedback on feature requirements, designs, and code changes
• Write efficient and reliable automated test cases
• Responsible for promoting and assessing the quality of software across teams on interdependent features

Let's talk if you have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• Must have more than 5 years of experience in Automation testing
• Must have experience in Playwright with TypeScript
• Must have experience in CI/CD pipeline
• Must have hands-on experience in writing automation frameworks from scratch
• Must have experience in building systems and version control systems (e.g. Jenkins, Github)
• Experience in development tools like Jira, Confluence, Test Rail
• Experience with data validation and quality. SQL skills with significant experience RDB (i.e., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (i.e., Couchbase, MongoDB)
• Experience testing web services using SoapUI, Postman or similar software suites a plus
• Experience with tools like in Selenium using C# and Jmeter or Grafana K6 is huge plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong/effective in Agile/Scrum methods
• Passion for quality and advancing technical skills
• Must have great analytical and troubleshooting skills and thrive in a dynamic work environment
