Job Description

• You will be responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of group legal entities in accordance with IFRS and German Gaap (HGB), ensuring their timely and accurate submission to the Group.
• You will coordinate activities within the general ledger accounting area as part of our Global Business Services, focusing on consolidating, standardizing, and automating accounting functions.
• You will provide advice to stakeholders on financial issues, considering applicable accounting regulations.
• You will proactively optimize accounting processes and drive implementing solutions for optimiozing and harmonizing processes.
• You will support the entities from an accounting and process perspective in a wide range of topics and initiatives.
• You will act as the point of contact for the assigned unit, auditors, tax advisors, authorities, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax or a comparable field, along with several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting functions.
• You possess strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS accounting standards, and ideally (German) tax law.
• You have comprehensive experience with SAP R/3 in the FI module. Additional experience in process automation is a plus.
• You demonstrate excellent analytical skills, a high level of initiative, and an independent and structured approach to work.
• You are proficient in English, both written and spoken, and feel comfortable in an international environment. Additional German language skills are also required for that position.
• You exhibit excellent teamwork skills, are reliable, and have a strong results-oriented mindset.
• You perceive changes due to increasing digitalization as opportunities to actively contribute and share your ideas.
• This position is located in Waiblingen, Germany. For applicants currently located outside of Germany relocation is a must.
