Multinational Data Analytics Team developing analytical apps and services to support central global initiatives and country markets. Interdisciplinary scope of assignments ranging from BI tool deployments and maintenance, app development, data maintenance, in-house analytical consulting focused on pricing, sales support and optimization, marketing campaign and promotion impact assessment.

Dynamically growing team using Agile methodologies and offering exposition to technical, data science, project management and operational perspectives on business data analytics in a global enterprise context.

What will you do?

• Design dashboards

• Connect Tableau to a database and create designed dashboards

• Format, align, and improve the look and feel of the dashboards

• Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation

• Test the quality of data by comparing the output of the dashboard with the database

• Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight and add value

• Understand the data that will be shown on the dashboard

• Ensure consistency by following a set of software-coding and style guides

• Publish dashboards on servers and define user access controls

• Ask for, and act on, feedback from end users and modify dashboards accordingly

• Design, develop, and conduct unit testing

• Meet with business stakeholders to understand what they need as part of the current project

• Identifying patterns and meaningful insights from data by analyzing it

• Twisting SQL queries for improving performances

• Managing Tableau Server

• Developing reference documents or reports for the finalized project

• Maintenance of team collaboration tools (Teams, Yammer, MS Office 365 cloud collaboration tools)

• Prioritize needs coming from stakeholders

• Perform functional research and design to determine possible solutions

• Conduct data discovery and profiling for fit and gap analysis

• Perform functional testing and user acceptance testing

• Actively contribute to team ceremonies including: sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review and retrospectives

Qualifications

What will help you to be successful?

• Student / alumni of master level studies in economics, engineering, computer science, mathematics or other if presenting strong analytical skills

• Data visualization tools (Tableau ), minimum 2 years of experience
• Expertise in handling all Tableau products (Desktop, Prep, Server)
• Good knowledge of handling databases and proficiency in SQL

• MS Office (mainly Excel and PPT)

• Interest in applying statistical techniques to the practical problems in business

• Natural curiosity and creativity to deep dive into complex business issues

• Excellent analytical skills to analyze business needs

• Problem-solving skills to resolve the issues that appear during development

• Good written and communication skills

• Excellent team-building skills

• Advanced English (multinational team, working on global assignments)

Nice to have:

• AWS (S3, Glue, Athena)

• Experience in building relational databases, applying best practices for database design and development activities.
• Experience with software such as: Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Visual Studio: create / maintain, GitHub
